Power Panel: Multi-Cloud and What It Really Means

Now that we're more than 10 years into the cloud revolution, it's clear that cloud computing does not provide a simple, one-stop solution to developing and deploying 21st century IT architectures. As technology providers have become more sophisticated, and as enterprise IT professionals show their traditional skepticism to "magic bullets," the idea of working with multiple cloud technologies has emerged.

Multi-cloud is the idea of deploying combinations of onsite virtualization, third-party hosting and colocation, and public clouds such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Rackspace, and Google Cloud Engine. This panel addresses the real-world challenges in working with complex, multi-cloud environments and how doing so can improve an organization's ability to move quickly, adopt its strategy and tactics as needed, and stay current with its competition.
