Should You Go ‘Serverless’? The Pros and Cons

In this presentation, to setup the context I will start with introducing what is Serverless architecture and how it is different from the way we were using cloud in the past, how serverless offerings from various cloud providers is positioned to become the most used service of these providers going forward in the coming years.

Then I will be talking about the Pros & Cons of Serverless architecture and which application use cases types are ideal for taking full advantages of Serverless from my practical experience using serverless architecture in products which we developed for some of our big client in last couple of years. I will be further talking about Pros & Cons of going Serverless from business, developers and user’s perspective.

My presentation will be an interactive session of aprox. 30 min’s (based on available time). The use-cases I am taking in this presentation is a very common one to make sure that I connect with the audience very well and which will result in a very positive Q&A session that can be limited to next 5 to 10 in’s based on the availability of time. The audience will able to learn what is Serverless Architecture, its Pros & Cons and in which use cases they should adopt serverless approach and be empowered to make an informed choice while starting a new product development project.
