Ian Robinson is the worldwide virtualization and multi-cloud offering manager for IBM Systems, responsible for IBM’s portfolio of virtualization, entry private cloud and hardware management solutions for the Power Systems platform. He joined IBM in 2009 with its acquisition of Transitive Corporation, where he was VP of Marketing, and prior to that he worked in technology management roles at VMware, Zone Labs and Brio Software. He is a Senior Member of the ACM and IEEE, and has an MBA and MS in Engineering from San Jose State University, and an MS in Information Systems from the University of San Francisco.
